With nearly two decades of experience, she has worked across various healthcare settings, treating adults with speech, language, voice, and airway disorders, gender-affirming voice, and swallowing issues. Driven by a passion for making a difference and scientific curiosity, Dr. Lovette earned her PhD in Rehabilitation Sciences from the MGH Institute of Health Professions. Additionally, she is a trained mindfulness instructor through the UCSD Center for Mindfulness, a certified coach through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, and a registered yoga instructor (RYT-500).

Dr. Lovette's research interests span a variety of topics, including concussion management, mind-body and psychologically informed rehabilitation and healthcare, implementation science, and interprofessional practice and education. Her dissertation work involved the development and testing of an evidence-based mindfulness intervention for persistent concussion symptoms. She has presented nationally, published peer-reviewed articles, and mentored and instructed on a variety of topics, including concussion, mind-body approaches in healthcare, and intervention development. In addition to her scholarly work, Dr. Lovette teaches yoga and mindfulness to the public and clinical populations, integrating these practices into her holistic approach to health and rehabilitation.
